That was in 2008. Well the case was posponed several times, I did have both knees replaced and right knee cap latter on, as well as (3) major surgeries on the back. Now I'm waiting "STILL" for a second injury claim, which includes the back, since the roof was reinspected by my boss at the time(He never was there at the time of injury) and lied stating it didn't happen, but I ended up with metal and screws into my back, and a very painful and long treatment I finally have releif of most pain, but still I can't work and I was given a letter stating that due to my injuries I con't return to my position, and then they laid off all the people that were under contract. I havn't had any court case since then. Now being going on (7 years). Do you call this justice? I have so much problems from weather change I moved to Nevada where the weather is warm and no snow, meantime during this process, I lost my Job, Car, House, and almost my Marriage, due to this. I was lucky though, S.S. found me disabled, and I took a Disability early retirement as well, but the damage is done,my credit is "0" and unable to ever recover. Even though I informed my Attorney I get no info. as to when it will be resolved and I'm broke, living from Month to month, also added to this my Wife is disabled now and not working, and I have a step-son with "Autism" still no help by complaining,it don't matter to the State of N.J.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5171792307562177997.post-53896885794767694162014-03-26T16:17:59.248-04:002014-03-26T16:17:59.248-04:00I am a retired police officer injured on the job. ...I am a retired police officer injured on the job. I had improper treatment, walking on a non displaced Talus fracture for months before seeing an ankle specialist. Had surgery on ligaments which were over tightened per wc own doctor. Had many medical bills and ER visits that I had to pay because WC refused to pay and 3 years later still haven't paid or repay me for the out of pocket costs. I had to pay to have neck surgery out of pocket because they refused. They wouldn't cover a nerve test that I had on my own. This system is broken. If you are seriously injured at work in NJ you are screwed. My lawyer kept telling me "this is the way it works". Court cases kept getting delayed. Throughout the past 3 years WC haven't once provided treatment for my neck after me seeing several Orthopedic Spine surgeons, having MRI, Discogram showing disc herniated, torn, they did nothing. I was just told today they want to settle for 7500. While I had to retire on disability, can't even do household chores. Don't my attorney there was no way I was taken that amount. I've paid that amount out of pocket for medical treatment, plus my private ins company has a lean on my case that is much more than that. I"m not going to have to pay them out of pocket for a wc injury and I should be payed back the amount I've had to pay out of pocket for claims that I was threatened would go to collection if I didn't pay. What am I suppose to do about all the bills for over two years ago that still haven't been paid? WC is absolutely worthless. Crum &am...My W/C case is now going on the 8th year. Crum & Forester is the insurance carrier on the Respondent's side. Having 4 children throughout this still ongoing nightmare, a husband who has to work 80 plus hours a week to keep things going like food on our table, bils paid, education, and so much more. The Insurance carrier has denied thousands of dollars in medication we had to put out ourselves, traveld to multiple doctors putting 28,000 miles on our car, left us with no TTD payments throughout the 8 yeasrs for over a year, an attorney ( ours) who is either afraid of the I/C or doesn't care about this situation that we live in every day. At this point we have medical orders that we asked our attorney to put an emerge court hearing, he told us he did yet never did. My injury is severe, life threatening, & I am 100% disabled, my biggest fear is for my life, & how this has impacted our family. I am so depressed, anxious, traumatized over my children & husband having watched me physically suffer, our finances are ruined, & I continue to go down hill on a daily basis never knowing if this will be the day I cannot breath for good. NOBODY in the workers compensation system has heard me in years. The judge on my case has retired, she was wonderful yet I have never met the new Judge, I hear he is very fair. The IC has lied, denied court orders, & appear to be above the law. They send me to 5 of their doctors to get what they want to hear, every doctor thank GOD has been honest telling the IC the truth, not what they wanted. I pray for every TRULY injured NJ worker for justice. The real majority of the FRAUD comes from the Workers Compensation system & their attorneys, as well as the Insurance Carriers.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5171792307562177997.post-71838564890760632052011-04-18T14:13:15.974-04:002011-04-18T14:13:15.974-04:00I would love to sit down with the paper, I have a ...I would love to sit down with the paper, I have a contested case and this has been a disaster, it has been 8 months and I have had no medical treatment, been to court twice, however I have lost everything in the process, having two children and being a single mother, this has been a night mare for my family and I. I dont understand this system at all and never will, however some things have to change,

Respectfully,
Jill Scardena
Scardena2@yahoo.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5171792307562177997.post-85802571541913127722010-03-11T04:07:17.248-05:002010-03-11T04:07:17.248-05:00very well written, descriptive and intriguing post...very well written, descriptive and intriguing post. thanks author for this piece of information. i would like to have a say on Compensation Claims, Because of the recent economic recession that has occurred, there are many people who are struggling to make ends meet. These people are often a few paychecks away from a bankruptcy position. If they became injured on the job, they would not be able to afford to continue paying off their home mortgage. To help protect workers, workers compensation insurance is mandatory by all employers. This means that you are covered if you have any injuries or accidents that occur on the job.john.....https://www.blogger.com/profile/07415577763801641055noreply@blogger.com
